Shutter Van Lock
How Does It Work?
Constructed from stainless steel, L4V Shutter Locks are designed for use with roller shutters and side-sliding doors on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and box-body light commercial vehicles (LCVs). Although it is optimal to install these locks during the vehicle’s body-build phase, they can also be retrofitted onto existing fleet vehicles, provided the appropriate skills and equipment are available. The robust metal construction guarantees security, dependability, and durability.
Hook Lock
How Does It Work?
The L4V Hook Lock is a mechanical deadlock operating independently from the manufacturers’ locking system. A deadlocking hook bolt engages into its opposing body section. Operated by its high security external key under full control of the driver. Suitable for owner-drivers or applications where the driver can be relied upon to operate the lock. We recommend our Hook Lock is fitted to both the side and rear door.
Slam Lock
How Does It Work?
The L4V Slam Lock is primarily designed for couriers, multi-drop delivery drivers and any operations where a driver may be regularly in and out of a loading area throughout the day. The L4V Slam Lock safeguards against the driver forgetting to lock the doors. Once the door is shut it locks automatically and can only be opened using the L4V Slam Lock key, reducing the chances of theft.
DeadLock
How Does It Work?
The L4V Deadlock is a mechanical deadlock for vans operating independently from the manufacturers’ locking system. It is very similar to the L4V Hook Lock however this lock engages a ‘straight bolt’ (20mm-50mm) into its opposing body section. Operated by its high security external key under full control of the driver. Suitable for owner drivers or applications where the driver can be relied upon to operate the lock. The L4V Deadlock is recommended for use on the vehicles cab doors. We may suggest this as an alternative to an L4V Hook Lock where necessary.
Replacement Lock Ford
How Does It Work?
The L4V Replacement Lock for Ford is a high security upgrade for the drivers door lock. Installing this product greatly reduces the rick of picking and forced rotational attacks. Available for the Ford Transit 2000>, Ford Custom 2012> and Ford Connect 2014>.
The replacement lock has been designed with anti-pick and anti-spin properties, which address the vulnerabilities of the original driver’s door lock. Both the barrel and bezel are fabricated from high-strength stainless steel, providing increased resistance to drilling attacks.
This product also acts as a strong visual deterrent against attack, reducing the risk of damage from attempted attack and theft.
Statement Lock
How Does It Work?
The L4V Statement Lock is a light weight, high security, surface mounted lock. Designed to brace a van’s doors together, it provides increased protection to the load area, whilst serving as a strong visual deterrent.
The LV4 Statement Lock incorporates anti-drill and anti-cut properties, making it capable of withstanding attacks from heavy duty power tools such as angle grinders and drills.
The L4V Statement Lock has been independently awarded with Sold Secure Automotive Diamond accreditation, as well as being recognised by Secured By Design as a Police Preferred Specification.
The lock and keep are both attached to the van, meaning there are no locking elements that can be misplaced by the user. This product can be installed on both the side load doors or barn doors, and is available for the best-selling vans on the market.
